Someone must have passed theirs up. I got a VIN on Friday 5/31 and my delivery date is this Friday 6/7. I could have scheduled delivery earlier.

Day 12 since receiving my VIN. No contact from Tesla, despite me having been paying insurance for it for 12 days now. 1 out of 5 messages in the app has gotten a response, which was a few days after getting the VIN when they said it had not arrived yet. Pretty shitty since I live 5 hours away and need to plan a trip to go pick it up. Not sure why they assign a VIN that far in advance.

After calling several times a day since Friday, I finally got someone at the service center today. The truck is on the lot, they’re just swamped doing 30+ deliveries per day (I assume not just CT’s). He was able to schedule my delivery for this Sunday (6/9). Had notification from the app of the appointment by the time I hung up.

Yes 12/28 and you are absolutely correct! ? absolutely crazy day yesterday.

Of course as I’m about to drive out the lot the heavens open up and it’s a torrential downpour. I’m freaking out since this is my first EV, second time to ever drive an EV (first time was a month or so ago for about 10 minutes), first drive by wire, first four-wheel steering, And first vehicle over 400hp to drive. And the dealership is 45 minutes+ from my town on a sunny day located in the area I’ve only been 3-4 times. Needless to say, I drove like a terrified grandmother! ?

Windshield wiper works fantastic and is also one of the main subjects people talk about when showing off the truck.

"Hello xxx, we are rescheduling your delivery appointment for June 11th at 5:30pm based on needing more time to prepare your vehicle for delivery. We apologize about this delay. If we are able to have your truck ready sooner, we will let you know. Thank you."'

Annoyingly.. They sent this after I paid for the damn vehicle

by the way.. zero option for me to have input. unfortunately I'm out of town next week so who knows what happens here,
