What happened to the flip up on the rear of the tailgate.

I have not seen any review of the Cybertruck that showed the flip up on the rear of the tailgate to stop 8 ft lumber/sheetrock/plywood from sliding out the back. Did that not make it to production like the midgate fold down at the front of the bed? Hopefully the tailgate is beefy enough to allow for the installation of a aftermarket unit? BTW, what is the length from the front of the bed to the rear of the tailgate when it is open (hopefully 8+ feet)?

The tailgate has two positions for the cables.

One position lets the tailgate lie flat, the other keeps the tailgate up slightly to prevent things from sliding out.

Yes, it's 8ft with the tailgate down.

I was all set to send a link to the Owner's Manual, but couldn't find it. I was CERTAIN I saw it in there. I thought I was losing my mind!!

I finally found the procedure under the CT DIY pages, haha!! They explain it a lot better than I can, haha!!

I was kinda hoping that the tailgate would have some embedded loops for tying onto or looping rope thru.
