So, I just received my invitation to order.

Due to the increase in price, and the price of Tesla stock, which I was counting on to be, about twice if not more than it currently is, I need to hold off on ordering it.
How long are we allowed to put this off? I'm sure the answer is in 1 of these threads, but I couldn't locate it. Any help out there. Do I have to cancel it withing a certain time frame or can I just wait a year or so. I do have other qualms about the CT, such as the more limited range than stated earlier, and I also think they will continue to make some nice improvements in the next 6-12 months as well. So, how long can I keep the invitation, or will I get follow up emails from Tesla at some point. Thanks for any helpful replies in advance. Long Tesla!

Tesla says to do nothing. You will not lose your place in line and your order will eventually convert to a non-FS choice in the future.

I waited about 6 months to place my order, I was a bit on the fence, but also I was an early M3 reservation holder, my vin is 23,--0 on my M3, and I saw a lot of improvements made in the first 6 months, so I thought I'd wait a bit to get some of the initial issues worked out more with the Cybertruck, since I thought it would be a tougher built, more complicated. I still believe that to be true, I also think the price will drop as it ramps up, which also has happened with all the models.
