oh puh-lease. its not bad if you pay attentionThe blind spot is pretty bad in the CT. I have to move my upper body all around to clearly see. Especially when driving in front of stores where pedestrians are walking.
you mean YOU are unsafeI’m sorry you have to deal with this. I’ve had a couple close calls because of the Blindspot. I expect they’ll figure out new design for the next generation. It’s really unsafe.
Vehicles have blind spots. Larger vehicles have larger blind spots. What we have here is a lot of folks buying the CT who have not driven large trucks before. People need to simply pay attention.I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I’ve had a couple close calls because of the Blindspot. I expect they’ll figure out new design for the next generation. The a-pillar on my Silverado is huge. Should GM re-design their pickup trucks?

Not unsafe. Just requires proper clearing from the driver.I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I’ve had a couple close calls because of the Blindspot. I expect they’ll figure out new design for the next generation. It’s really unsafe.
If I could I would pay a decent amount of money to turn the rectangular window into a screen showing the feed from a camera pointing straight out. At an angle similar to the driver’s point of view. So I guess what I am saying is that the risk reflects what the market is willing to pay to remedy it. We might never know. Not unsafe. Just requires proper clearing from the driver.
It's certainly different, just requires different head movement. The Blindspot is much further forward in the cybertruck. I never had this problem with my Silverado or driving an HD 2500 or F150. From my experience, The cyber truck has a much worse Blindspot than any vehicle of driven and owned various SUVs and trucks.
I was going to say the same thing. I know for certain my silverado's A pillar is bigger than the cybertruck. And I will admit that there have been at least a few occasions where it has perfectly matched the speed of cars coming up (particularly on angled intersections). This is why you have to look and then look again.Vehicles have blind spots. Larger vehicles have larger blind spots. What we have here is a lot of folks buying the CT who have not driven large trucks before. People need to simply pay attention.

I'm 5'4' and the small side window works great for me, probably because I have the seat high and forward. For whatever reason I don’t find it hard to see around the blind spot area or think it has a big blind spot. I wonder if it is different for taller people? Both myself and my wife are over 6’2”
Could it be something like that? I feel like I can see very well.
Sucks about the crash. Hope you get it back soon and everyone is not hurt.
Hilarious. The response from Taco drivers: "Why are you whining? Just move your head to see around the pillar." These dudes have wisdom. It's certainly different, just requires different head movement.
I found this thread which is funny.
