When I put a deposit for the CT in 2019, my husband declared “The ugliest truck ever”.
I have the CT for two months now and we got rid of his GMC. Wherever we go people wanted to talk to him, even with me driving. Husband always say it is her truck afterwards. I have one guy even walked away from me to go to him to ash questions. I really don’t mind, I just thought it is funny and reminded me of years ago, when husband had to tell sale persons “you need to talk to her”.

That's WRONG perception ... Truck can be driven by anyone .... I hear you ... wrap it pink or some other color to make a loud statement it is YOURS (y)
Please do a pink CT! That'd be dope

Pink?, stereo type, yes. I do like pink but not enough to wrap. I love the SS look so wrapping is out of the question.
What funny is, husband babies this truck more than I do, he does not like dirty windshield (a pain to clean) nor fingerprints.
Me, it still look awesome even dirty?.

Some guys are also just scared to talk to women. But yea, humans suck.

One day it isnt a truck, next day, its a truck so only men drive it. Day after that, it's a pavement princess, then a compensation tactic. We've seen it all here lol. What is the female equivalent of the tow hitch sack?

It’s rude of anyone to assume your husband is the owner of the truck. I see you that you take it in stride but still deserve the respect as the owner. I’ve come across women who drive trucks and a lot of them have a window sticker or some other indication that it’s “her” truck to make it clear. Shouldn’t have to but I assume they got tired of experiencing what you’re experiencing. I think it’s great to see as many female CT owners as we have on the forum.

Careful, or this might turn into a situation like when Homer bought Marge a bowling ball with "Homer" inscribed on it. Your husband might sequester the CT from you.

I don't think its rude, but it is certainly an incorrect assumption. Stereotypes are a way for our brains to save on processing time. We go to great lengths to prevent having to actually think because its expensive on energy consumption.

You see a glass tipping over, you assume it will fall. You see a wolf baring its teeth at you, you assume its a threat. You see a truck, you assume the owner is a man. All of these assumptions will be correct the majority of the time, but sometimes wrong.

Hey, i’m 80 years old and just bought a Cybertruck. Female. The most interesting thing to me is that everywhere I go elderly ladies come over and want to know all about it with a “ you go girl “ attitude. Sometimes I have three or four really old ladies chatting me up by the drivers window pleased as punch to see somebody their age still “truckin’’ around”

I agree to a certain extent. Assumptions can be made based on general societal stereotypes but If you take the time and mental energy to actually ask about the vehicle, ask the driver and let them answer your questions or refer you to whomever. Mental laziness isn’t a valid reason for someone to be rude to a complete stranger by invoking stereotypes.

I don’t think they mean to be rude, majority of truck owners are male.
In the 80s when I was a construction manager overseeing a large semiconductor construction. A female 18 wheeler driver delivering a large piece of equipment. I was glad to see her and she was glad to see me, mutual respect.
Nowadays, I see many women in position used to be held by men.
One drawback, husband and I often argue about how to accomplish a certain task. We are both stubborn.
He is slowly warm up to the CT.

Female here.

I ordered the Tri-motor the day of the unveil and am now waiting for a Beast. Got married over the last couple of years but we have an agreement that the CT is mostly mine
