Delivery scheduled for today June 19th 11:00am

Received a call from Tesla last night to tell me they were pushing my delivery to 6/29

I pushed back and they changed to 6/24

WTF?!?!? This sucks!

Question:
Does anyone have a good “what to look for” list when taking delivery?
Check all of your glass, found this weird corner of the windshield. Tesla is going to replace it when the service center gets a new supply.

Tonneau weather seal had a scratch on delivery day so they replaced it with a new one today.

Frunk panels were really misaligned so the service center adjusted them today and they are MUCH more flush! (They also adjusted the front driver side door to be congruent with the passenger door - did not have a photo)

Windshield wiper blade was not wiping the portion of the windshield directly in front of me lmao! #teslathings Service center replaced the blade.

Bolt cover was missing on delivery day so the delivery agent ran in the back and brought one out to replace it! Hope they didn’t just pop it off someone else’s truck lol!

Both my Delivery and Service teams have been awesome!

Based on this, seems like this is why I’m getting lies from my SC saying that they “have no visibility into my cybertruck” when it was supposed to be at the SC on the 18th. I think it’s hung up due to the motor issue and they are trying not to make a big deal out of it because they don’t want it blowing up. I know of a lot of people getting the same canned “we will reach out once it’s ready” response and their VINs seem to all be below 16xxx. Others on this forum that are beyond 16xxx are taking delivery. I’m 157xx.

Still no communication from tesla other than rescheduling. Getting ready to cancel and lose out on the $1k. May hold out for non-FS next year if I don’t hear anything this weekend

SC’s are receiving very few motors in first shipment. They’re replacing and scheduling deliveries immediately. But the next shipment of motors is unknown :)
That could be the reason for uncertainty in deliveries for many!

I'm on the back stretch. Picking up today barring another set back. Did those of you using Plaid hit the pay button ahead of the appointment or wait until you see and inspect the truck?

How do you know this? Every SC that I talk to gives me the runaround and pretends like the wiper motor issue is some conspiracy and won't explain where my truck is or when they will get it.

The GM at the SC! He was very professional and straight shooter, no BS. I think that's what we need at Tesla right now. Making these issues sound like conspiracy theories are only hurting the company more.

Did you ask for a GM when calling or do you have special access? i.e. friend, went into an SC, etc

Been there multiple times in the last 2 weeks and in May as well. I was going on a 3 week international trip and wanted to check if they can put a hold on the delivery if I get a VIN which did happen but in the last week of the trip :) Didn't ask for GM but he ran into me to sort out things with delivery.

It's scheduled for tomorrow at 1:00!! I went to use the app and reschedule right after posting here, but the option was suddenly gone - It had been there since yesterday. A little bit later, Tesla texted me saying it was ready and I could schedule it from the app again. Hoping it is (actually) ready and has the wiper situation resolved!
