Got VIN assigned today but having 2nd thought...

My Cyberbeast VIN was assigned today and if I pay the bill it will be mine but I am having 2nd thought... Anyone back out at last moment or had doubt like me?

I backed out, but ONLY because they gave me a white interior VIN when I ordered the grey interior.

I'd GO for it if it were me! Summer is here and it's a great season to get to know the truck.

Second thoughts for a $120k vehicle would be reason enough to pass it onto the next person. You can request a "hold" and they'll give you 185 days to fulfill order before cancellation. You'd surrender the VIN to the next person waiting but still keep your order.

I considered Cyberbeast but went with AWD for greater range. Very happy with it. No need to pay right away, I paid at delivery, after inspecting and sitting in the truck.

I requested by text ( but went through with initial order) when I responded to the Tesla rep who was assigned to me. They dont need justification or timeline. Simply ask if you can hold and they’ll tell you it’s a 185 day hold on your order.

I passed because it didn't seem to be worth a few months of early access for a $27,500+ premium.

Yep. That and the price difference. Didn't feel right to pay more for less range since I was not going to race it.

I also considered the beast because it was supposed to come with the light bar, but figured I'd just get one separately. I don't like the tape-mounted one though.
