I am considering buying the Tesla tailgate ramp. It seems like a high quality ramp, but the question is this. Is one ramp useful? It seems too narrow for most applications other than motorcycles etc. ie. I don't think it's wide enough to support a dolley /hand truck or anything like that.

What does everyone think?

No.

If you have one, you have none.

My guess is aftermarket will produce very good alternatives.

If you can, wait and see and compare pricing.

That confirms my thinking. I’m using my 2500 credit, so cost isn’t a big concern given the lack of stuff to buy anyways.

I got 2 with the credit, they seem just as good as any ramp, but I do like the locking table feature.

For me no its not worth it. For someone with a dirt bike probably worth it.

If anyone has one of those ramps you you mind sending some pictures? I’m curious if the runs in the ramp are so far apart it will not work for things with smaller tires like a snowblower.

I have used 2 of them to drive a lawn tractor into the bed without much issue. I'll be kinda busy tomorrow with 4th celebration prep and cleanup, but I'll take some pictures when I can.

I agree being able to turn these into tables are cool. Seems higher quality than what I see on Amazon. But it's 3X the price. I guess if there's nothing better to spend the credit on, then why not.

Here are a few pictures. @AlmostHuman

From how it deploys to how I personally store it. I didn't put them in the smuggler bin because I have my compressor in there.

This method with the cargo divider has worked extremely well for things like these ramps and loose stuff like the occasional tarp, tool bag, etc.
