When are we getting FSD on the Cybertruck?

I just did a 7 hour road trip and I was surprised that I was not road weary at the end. I hope you have a similar experience. I do find the TACC at highway speeds is a bit of a shite show with occasional phantom braking. So just good ole manual driving for a bulk of the drive is what I did.
Did 11 hours on the 6th. I was also surprised that I was not more fatigued at the end of the day.

whats the differenc between autopilot and fsd
Let’s start at the bottom.
TACC is traffic aware cruise control. It maintains your speed and slows for a car in your lane not going as fast as you. It won’t change lanes, it does not keep you in the lane - no automatic steering.
Auto Steer adds to TACC by keeping you in your lane. This makes driving on a trip much easier and is included with most (all but CyberTruck) basic teslas (cheapest model).
AutoPilot adds lane changes to that and requires an upgrade fee. Without the feature every lane change disables autosteer; this gets annoying. With the feature and depending on your hardware level, you have to apply your turn signal to change lanes (my 2015 S), up to the car decides to change lanes if safe when the vehicle in front of you is going slower.
Navigate on Aitopilot takes it a step higher to make turns n follow your gps until you reach FSD which builds on all of that. There are many levels of autonomy that FSD is climbing.

For those that want out of their “no sales clause”, I consider not having Auto steer and no autopilot as a breach of contract for what we paid for, particularly if you had other recent teslas that have these features. I’m not a lawyer though but it’s a valid point. IMHO it makes roadtrips suck based on what we’re used to.

Yeah CC is Shiit. Heavy braking on cars in an adjacent lane around a slight curve. And will not accelerate to max in some situations.

My Dino lexus had a better system alert.

Is phantom breaking when you're on TACC and riding next to a big truck (no one in front of you).... and the CT randomly brakes hard?

B/c I've experienced this ?

Wasn't there a gent that analyzed the code that was released. He would share another potential camera feed or some branch that predicted a feature. I remember Rob Maurer (The Tesla Daily guy) would always quote him but I never paid attention to the name cause I thought Rob would continue to report it. Since Rob doesn't podcast that anymore, I'll have to remember the name or hope one of you do.?

I would agree to wait patiently for months for FSD if I could have AutoPilot now!
Not me. I use FSD all the time in my other vehicles.

And it may be interesting. There is no longer an Enhanced Autopilot sold.

Good summary but isn't that all old terminology? I don't think Tesla offers anything but FSD at this point on any of their models. So you are correct in that we still lag behind on even the basic non FSD car models. It's frustrating but as a long time owner I'm used to Telsa doing it this way. They did disclose it on the app before you finalize the sale so lawsuits likely won't work, not that they ever do.

I'm still hopeful we see FSD 12.5 on the CyberTruck between now and September. I don't see a native HW4 version until next year or if we are lucky at the end of the year.

ETA: It is also possible that most of the missing features are so integrated into FSD that they can't release features piece meal, not to mention the complexity of integrating 4 wheel steering by wire.
