Just remember that there is a time limit and that you really don't want to be driving when the battery is submerged. There was a recent example of someone in Florida doing it. The turned into a parking lot and it didn't take long to realize that they actually turned into a deep ditch.

And if you feel that flooding may be an issue, best bet is to get out first.

But of course, we have been through dozens of storms living both in Florida and Texas. Your advice is something all should heed…we are just watching the water rise in our back pastures but all vehicles are high and dry and Blitzen is sheltered in a garage to stay totally clean before he gets wrapped, tinted and coated next week. We have several other 4X4s that can do the grunt work around the farm in the meantime. There are reindeer that need to be feed…
