To those picking up in the next few days, a little information on the delivery process.
You will head to the Delivery desk and meet the Delivery Advisor who is going to handle you. They will have to check out all of your information, confirm driver's license, payment, insurance, etc. first.
They are usually quite busy and may be handling multiple customers at the same time, please be patient with them.
Once everything is good inside, they will wait for your truck to be pulled up and they'll then take you outside and look over the vehicle.
The truck will have been cleaned, but it probably won't have been detailed clean as you would see at a legacy dealer. That means it's still going to be dirty and have marks on it. But it was cleaner than it was in the holding lot.
This is your time to do your look over. If you see any issues, take pictures and note them. (the delivery advisor will probably be helping someone else as you do this). When the delivery advisor returns, tell them, they may make a note of it, but probably tell you to create a Service Request with everything in it. Odds are that they won't fix on the spot.
If you feel that something is too big and you have to reject the truck, now is the time to do so.
The Delivery Advisor will then help you setup your phone as a key and pair the keycards with the truck.
Congratulations!! You own the truck!!
At this point, take the time to sit down and familiarize yourself with the truck.
But hopefully before you left to the Delivery Center, you have watched all of the videos in the app. Including the "what to expect on delivery day" and "how to operate the Cybertruck".
Learn how to put the truck in forward and reverse. Know where the indications of what gear you are in and the gear slider is.
Learn where the turn signals are and how to engage them.
If rain is in the forecast, learn how to turn them on, with the wheel button and in the GUI.
Setup up the music ad leave it alone. Don't touch it on the drive home. Learn where the wheel volume is so that you can turn it up or down.
Set the A/C for a comfortable temperature.
and most importantly, don't forget to bring someone to take pictures of your grin when you see and get your truck!!
Congratulations!
