Vandalized after only 6 days..

I figured it would eventually happen, but not this soon. After only 6 days of ownership and only 3 days of being back home in Kentucky with it. The truck got egged by teens last night. I told my wife that her model Y is going out in the driveway and the truck is staying in the garage from now on. ?

I did the garage thing as well. Kicked my wife’s Model Y and in went the CT. I did had a kid give me the bird and I did a hard U-turn and they ran fast. They were gone before u even finished my U-turn ???

My cars used to get egged fairly often in my neighborhood and while I was always pissed about having to clean it, I was more pissed about these kids wasting perfectly good eggs… don’t they know how healthy they are for you?

I have deep scratches and scuff marks where things were banged against the hood and doors, unfortunately nothing on Sentry mode to see how it happened. Mostly appearing on my road trips up to NH through CT, MA.

Anyone else finding Sentry mode is not picking things up? I turn on camera before I leave it parked.
From what i understand that is all i need to do. Some videos are blank but they're marked as an event.

I have received plenty of negative attention, nearly all from other trucks and older SUV's.

Nobody took me seriously, when I mentioned early on that I would immediately get a car cover. I remember someone saying, " Why cover your CT, I wanna show it off". I still would've gotten a cover, if I wouldn't have canceled my order. Just silly NOT to get one for this very reason, vandalism. Good luck with your truck!

Sad case.

I believe we were all teenagers once but for most of us it didn't involve vandalism. But here in NC, depending on the cost to clean or repair determines the punishment. I do garage my CT and most times I have one person in the truck at the ready. I pray nothing happens but the threat is always there. People do these things because they feel emboldened by the leniency of our system. If caught; working at the police car lot washing cars for 30 days should deter this.

I don’t think egging a car constitutes jail time, especially for a teen. Most likely a fine.

In Kentucky, Criminal Mischief (vandalism) with damage > $1,000 is a Class D felony (1-5 year).
For first offense, restitution before trial can reduce the classification.

Our family also was targeted.. She broke out all but one window! Police say it was a random act of violence???? BELLBROOK, OHIO

thanks for the response, with your info i checked the app 'camera' on with the screen and they're linked.

My experience has been mixed with Sentry, at times it shows someone walking up and around, other times it shows nothing for 10 minutes.
