Attaching the email that I just received, I ordered on 5\29 and expected my PowerShare credit, Tesla store rep said that it came with the $4,000 installation credit at delivery. Feeling very played by Tesla on this. This is what made the foundation series worth it and they just secretly took that away.
1) what do you all think?
2) now that I have the hardware, I ordered it from Tesla, can I use any Electrician and get my own quotes to install this?
Email from qmerit received on 7/18:
I am following up on your recent inquiry regarding eligibility for the Cyberbeast Installation credit of up to $4000. We have received confirmation from Tesla that unfortunately you are not eligible for the installation credit, as your vehicle was ordered after Tesla's promotional end date (5/22/2024). I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this has caused. However, if you are still interested in a Powershare installation through Qmerit, we would love the opportunity to provide you with an estimate from one of our Certified Installers.
