it seems is a pre-req for 12.5 though:
That tweet (can we still call them tweets?) is mostly referring to the car fleet a lot of which haven't moved to the 2024.20 branch. Most trucks have been on the 2024.20 branch for a while now.

Finally! Commuting 1-2 hours everyday without this has been brutal. Cybertruck was my first Tesla and I am looking forward to this! Am I setting my expectations too high?
Coming out to CT in 2-4 weeks? For sure
Fsd being a game changer? Not even. It's a game changer and honestly makes you safer.

1 big thing though. Always. And I mean always. Be paying attention even more than driving. You will get used to how it reacts to everything to some extent. But it will always throw you a curveball when you least expect it. ?

But I got addicted. It was 80%+ of my driving before I sold my 22 model s. Anything under 80 was fsd. Honestly makes me intolerable of driving the speed limit without it ?

Ah so the long anticipated end-to-end is not in there yet. ☹ Haven't seen any Cybertruck installs yet.

Sadly, my cybertruck is on 2024.26.1

2024.26.1/release-notes)
will not be eligible for this update.

From Not a Tesla App:

What’s quite important here is that most Cybertrucks are on 2024.20.9 – which means they’ll be eligible for the update, as FSD V12.5 is also supposed to bring FSD and Autopilot features to the Cybertruck for the first time. Some Cybertrucks were spotted with LiDAR units for FSD accuracy testing (https://www.notateslaapp.com/news/2...-lidar-fsd-v125-stack-merge-confirmed-by-musk)
recently, which means we’re likely to see FSD enabled on these vehicles once this 2024.20.10 update arrives.

Who’s Eligible?
Vehicles on 2024.20 (https://www.notateslaapp.com/nl/software-updates/versie/2024.20.9/release-notes) and below, including those on 2024.15.15 (https://www.notateslaapp.com/software-updates/version/2024.15.15/release-notes)
and
2024.14 (https://www.notateslaapp.com/software-updates/version/2024.14.9/release-notes)
should be eligible for the update. The few vehicles (under 1% of the tracked fleet) on
2024.26 (https://www.notateslaapp.com/nl/software-updates/versie/2024.26.1/release-notes)
will not be eligible for this update.

what sucks is that since cybertruck does not have ultrasonic sensors, certain features will still be disabled or limited, even once FSD is released, including auto park, summon, smart, summon, and even auto wipers… cyber trucks FSD will be powered by Tesla vision.

Tesla Cybertruck FSD 12.5 starts rolling out in limited release (even to non-employees)! IMG_0417

That isn’t true, those features will get turned on.

Does anyone know if the Cybertruck has adaptive\matrix headlights? Looks like 12.5 is enabling that feature for the other cars with the right hardware

Seems possible. They want to get to 12.5 i'd imagine ASAP so the whole fleet has access to FSD and mainly for the merged true AI learning stack. They aren't likely wanting to code for freeway improvements so want to train it similarly to non-freeway roads.
This version of 12.5 isn't single stack. Only V12 in the city, still.

Also, not currently going to the CT. Maybe when the single stack comes out, we'll see CTs get it.

Autopark is on other vehicles without USS.
CT already has autowipers (USS has nothing to do with those).
Smart Summon barely works on USS, so not a big loss there.

I had a Y with no USS before the cybertruck. Autopark worked great on it and so when it comes to cybertruck it will be sweet.

For those wanting audible parking alerts....sorry but with vision based parking you will not get it with the cybertruck as it has no USS. The screen is like a 3d infrared environment where things turn red when you get too close and that plus cameras are what you use to know when to stop. Autopark will minimize the need but definitely about 80% as good as USS plus cameras IMHO.
