Replacing VCREAR?

I was just requesting a service ticket because my rear speakers are not working. (which are working now ?‍). I have a few of the normal recalls, the wiper motor, and the rear Sail applique. They also added a "VCREAR" to be replaced. Does anyone know what that is?

Vehicle Controller Rear, it basically handles everything in the back half of the truck other than the rear console and doors.

Do you know if it controls the rear audio? The same day I had the rear speakers and subs stopped working, but ended up coming back on later.

Yes, it controls the rear audio. There is also a few threads about this. Many of us, including you it looks like, had this issue fix itself.

Yeah, it runs the two 200mm woofers and two 100mm full range in the rear header.
