Got my VIN Friday, July 26th.

Hopefully all goes well!

BTW, I did change my interior from tactical gray to White. I haven't got a clue if this is why I am getting it sooner than their estimated date of Oct-Dec?

I'm not sure on the grey, as every photo I've seen has a green tint to it, which is off-putting. Wondering if I should switch to white interior!

At first, I thought when I picked the Tactical Grey, it included the whole interior, I didn't want white seats (like all the other Tesla cars that have white interiors). I was worried if the seats were going to be white, because I constantly would be touching them and that they would get dirty looking. But then I looked at some of the CyberTruck videos, and the seats weren't white, they were gray/black. So, I switched it to White interior. I have no problem with the dash and side panels being white (rarely touched).

I'm reading all the paperwork now, arranging finance and insurance, etc. Not sure how many days it will be when I get it.

One thing in the paperwork I can't figure out is the Premium Connectivity. I don't know if I will get that or not? The purchase agreement says no, the website and Grok say yes. So, I'm not sure, I hope I get it.

I decided to follow your lead. I switched my design from tactical grey to white. There are many third party companies that will change out the color of the panels to anything you want, so the panel color really doesn't make a difference to me. In all the photos I've seen, I think the white looks better, so I switched to white. But my preference would probably be black, not grey.

Once I finalized my interior selection to white, it locked up my choices. I can no longer change anything in the CT configuration like I could before. I assume the next step is a VIN will be assigned to me. How many days from the date you changed to white until you received your VIN?

On 6/11/24 I got email to configure, Tesla stated my delivery will be Oct to Dec.
Probably a couple weeks later, I switched to the White interior.
On 7/26/24 I got VIN number.

I'm not sure if switching helped or not, its moot now.

Based on my 2 week VIN to delivery timing in Michigan, August seems likely...

Going by yourself or a contingent of Cybertrucks? Brave if solo.

We would always leave town that week. America's worst event if you lived near it for the weeks prior to and during. People coming into town two weeks prior just to run up and down Woodward each and every day and night up to it. Go stay retired at your own home state.

I remember one year there was a guy that organized a general Tesla meet-up for the Dream Cruise. I think he had a business on Woodward with a parking lot that he closed off for the event.

I submitted my wire transfer today. I talked to service rep @ Clarkston SC. He said I should get the vehicle at the end of next week. He did tell me about some registration software that Tesla is using, that is "down" right now. He said they have to physically/manually take paperwork to the SOS and they take up to 5 days to process my registration... UGH! ?

I got the call Saturday, pick it up Tuesday (Aug 13) at 4:00 pm.....
