Hello! I have a cyberbeast in East Texas. We lose power 20 times a month, and to remedy this I had solar panels and back up batteries installed.

Based on my configuration, I do not believe I am eligible for integrated Power Share.

In extreme outage scenario, which has happened once in 7 years. I hooked up a 6500 watt portable generator to top off the batteries when the grid was down for days and it was cloudy for days (no solar generation).

Instead of hooking up the portable generator, could I use the 240 volt plug in the back of the truck? I absolutely know my inverters will be able to handle it. I can also program how much they will draw. I am asking how will the truck do? How much power will it “share?”

The truck will source 40A, 9,600W, from the 14-50 outlet. So it should be able to take over for your 6,500W generator.

Thank you. This is great news for me.

Do you know how much I can deplete the Cybertruck battery in this use?

I understand 240v at 40 amps is 9600 watts. I am asking how long will the truck allow this happen.

I believe that it will go down to 20% before turning the plugs off.

Powershare will integrate with PowerWalls, but if you have some other solution currently installed, then there are few solutions at this time.

Oh, you wanted the energy number, not power.
5% (or 12 hours) is the cut off per the manual:
https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-DA020526-B42E-4C0E-AE1E-BB22072D48B6.html
If you want the outlets to continue supplying power even when the vehicle is not occupied, touch Controls > Outlets & Mods and enable Keep On Cabin and Bed Outlets. After 12 hours, or once the high voltage Battery has less than 5% remaining energy, the outlets shut off. Keep On Cabin and Bed Outlets is automatically enabled whenever you turn on the outlets using the mobile app.

Ah. Thanks. I knew about the 12h use. I did not know about the 5% limit. That’s what I was looking for.

It’s a rare use for me, but I have needed it.

Thanks.
