Tesla Off Road Light Bar ... anyone have it installed yet?

Has anyone had the Off Road Light Bar installed? Just got my Tesla service notice to have it installed, not sure I want it, would like to see a final version installed.

I'm taking it in to have a delivery issue resolved and part of the estimate says "Light Bar Install" as a $0.00 item. That's literally all I know.

If it's the one they had on some of the early test mules I don't want it, looks kind of goofy. Hopefully they have redesigned it.

Exactly, which is why I want to see one first. It's installed with RTV on the glass as far as I can tell from early pics.

I understand they need to lea e the black out tape on but hopefully they connect it to power. One thing I’ll do for sure prior to dropping it off is pre-cleaning it the attachment site.

It definitely appears as if they designed it first and then the lawyers got involved.

I'm trying to get to the how to enable power, but having logon problems right now.

It doesn't appear as if it is using the rooftop 48V! The story left off as they routed the cable inside the vehicle.

Yes, please update if and when it is installed, I'm curious if they make any software updates as well, i.e. instead of it saying "Accessory on/off" or what ever it says, if it gets named "Off-road light-bar" or something along those lines.

Once installed a “lightbar” button will appear while in off-road mode in the off-road mode app.

The lightbar is indeed plugged into the 48v on the roof.

I'm due to get mine installed soon and will update with pics
