Shortly after I ordered I was sent a survey, subsequently received the letter referenced. Were you contacted to conduct a survey? I would get more definition from support in your case.
No I was not contacted. And when I did contact tesla asking about details they just told me to wait until they contact me. And that would happen close to when the VIN is assigned. See my last post. I sent them another text yesterday afternoon and have not received a response yet.

You don’t need the PowerShare to be able to charge at home. It comes with a mobile charger you can simply plug into a 110V outlet. It will charge very slow but it will charge it. You can also install a Tesla (or other brand) wall charger for much faster charging. Lastly, you can go to any supercharger and charge as well.

I understand that. I rented a model 3 for a month when my car was in the shop and loved it but charging was a pain because I have a 50 mile commute to work and the 110V charger would not charge enough overnight to cover my commute to and from work. And why would I buy a wall charger if I'm supposed to be getting one with my order. But I don't even know if that is the case because I may have been mislead. That is the whole point of my original post. There is very little clarity to what I am actually getting and tesla is no help. I'll continue to read replies and appreciate them but I'm going to stop responding because most posts are happy people posting about getting their trucks and I don't want to be "that guy" that brings down the overall vibe. I was just venting my frustration with this whole process. And I don't understand why it is like that since it is so easily avoidable.

This is so crazy. It is like someone from Tesla was monitoring this thread and concluded: OK, we have messed with this guy enough. We better do something to make him happy.

I checked the tesla app and saw a message that I have to accept a change to the order. There was a disclaimer about cameras or something. I accepted and BAM! I have a VIN! I am over the moon happy. I take everything back I said about Tesla. It is the greatest company ever! Lol (I did not receive an email yet)

I'm just hanging out here waiting for my Cyberbeast. Configured 12/15/23 from Florida. Powershare emails done and eligible. Watching Tesla build 50-60 dual motors per day and 20 Cyberbeasts per week. Feeling like the red headed step child.
Unbelievable! With all the CT's building up around Austin, and the fact that they've opened up ordering Foundation series to anyone who wants one, why are you still waiting? Did yours slip under the wire? Something stinks here. You should be driving now.

No longer in the waiting room. Picked up my beast today. Love it. Minor things like multiple finger smudges etc, maybe not the most perfect panel alignments but i was good with. Only real issue was the windshield wiper base plate thing was cracked/broken. Have to setup a service appointment to replace.

Today is day 68 of my wait since i configured my CB. I just got on a plane to fly to Scotland for my 50th birthday in a few days from now. What a gift it would be if Tesla finally gives me a VIN. Unfortunately my wife has made me force close the Tesla app while we are gone, so I will be having withdrawals from my hourly disappointments.
Well here’s hoping someone from Tesla see this and on the 29th makes me a really happy man.

Sounds harsh. Happy 50th. You know you will get a vin while you are gone. Everyone always gets their vin while on vacation.

I ordered a Cyberbeast 36 hours after debut. Confirm 3-30-24 and got a VIN 8-23-24. I should be driving within a couple of weeks, I guess.

Depends where you are located? Mine was about 15 days.
Was the delivery date given 15 days before you could pick it up or just a couple of days? How many days notice before delivery is the question? Were there more than one option dates/times?

Vin arrived Aug 1…. Notified of pickup Aug 10 for an August 18 delivery. They typically give you three additional pickup dates…. Mine were sequential optional days. I arrived early and it had my name on the dash. I had plenty of time to inspect before signing the papers. I did not find any issues that required service appointments.

I never received emails regarding the VIN/delivery, it was all being done with text and app. My complication is I carry 2 phones (1 work, 1 personal since I travel a bit) and some of the texts went to my work text # and some were in my personal text #. I was juggling 2 phones with updates and tesla apps. And I'm doing a trade-in. Right now I have completed all the requests. Work/customer is not happy about me taking time off (4 hours ffs) to make my delivery appt but that's the situation. Gotta admit, I am experiencing not insignificant pre-delivery anxiety; mostly because I'm afraid something will go wrong with the paperwork and I won't get to pick up the truck.

VIN to delivery = 6 days (including weekend)
