It’s a bit embarrassing for me to ask this question as FS owners are still waiting for their Beast. I’m hoping to order Beast as soon as non FS opens up. I’m a very early reservation holder (RN112758***). Is the wait going to be several months for me as well? I know none of us knows this for sure but what’s your wild speculation? Is it going to take a year or so? After doing AWD test drive, my patience is really wearing off!

I think it’s very safe to assume yes, my guess would be summer next year

Mine looks like it will let me pay without a delivery date, I just haven’t because we’re still trying to work through the veterans discount hoops.

I paid in full prior to delivery date. VIN to Delivery ended up being 3 days...

To contrast that... not only did I NOT pay in full ahead of time, I'm doing a trade-in AND my financing expired today. But, I'm lucky to be one of those VIN-to-delivery in 28-hours people.

Was able to get someone on phone at my delivery center. Tentatively scheduled for Sunday September 1. Said possible sooner depending on vehicle arriving when it is supposed to. Suppose to arrive on Friday 8/30.

I got the vin over the weekend. So I paid for it and had to wait until Monday for the insurance. State farm would only give a 60 day temp insurance card. And said it will take 7 to 10 days for it to be added to my current policy. I added it and went to the delivery center to talk to someone to see if that is going to be a problem because tesla requires proof of insurance 3 days prior and 60 days after delivery. They said the 3 days prior is required. The 60 days is a little more flexible. They are going to issue a 30 day temp tag and then extend it later. I asked how fast should I know of a delivery time. He said it should be fast. Then looked up my truck and said he can schedule me for Thurssay right then... so I figured it was already on location. I walked around the holding lot looking for trucks that matched my build and found the one with my vin! There were alot (cypress TX, outside houston). Alot of the ones on the lot had some pretty poorly alighned frunks and was happy mine was not one of them...

I am dropping mine off for wrap and tint right after delivery on Thursday. Doing the same. What I like most about that color is that it is closest to the trim color. I think that is why it is so popular.

I am in a fairly small town. Not a lot of people that do wraps. Trying to decide if I take to a bigger city to have done, have someone do it locally or attempt myself...

Well, my understanding is the cybertruck is the easiest to wrap because the lack of curves. But do you really want to jack up the look of a 100k car with an amateur wrap job. There are plenty of youtube videos that make it look easy...

I certainly don’t want to jack it up. I am sure if I did then I would have to pay someone to fix it. Counter argument would be if you did a good job. If wrap looked good you could take pride in a job well done. Not really sure that I would take the plunge but considering it. Another member just said he wrapped his with no experience and said it went very well and he was happy with the job.

Many people on here have done their own truck and regret it vs who were glad they did.
