Same thing happened to Me ---- It's the end of the month and Tesla wants the revenue. The called me three times begging me to come get it today.
Were they like “Elon's on the call JTB please please come down and buy our cyber truck or we are out of Business? This might be the best tread I’ve seen

OP for some reason that Riverside delivery center is very pushy on deliveries. I’m not sure why and they tend not to work with you. Next time see if you can get it delivered in Kearny Mess or Carlsbad. Those guys are much more flexible.

Good luck! Stick around and read up on what you will be missing from the greatest Truck ever made!

Not sure why anyone would kick it or hang out and comment in a forum where they are not interested in buying the truck that the forum is about? I’m not in a ford forum saying I don’t want a raptor so ummm … Just saying
Not sure what you mean here but send like we agree?

What was your VIN? Wondering if my upcomig 289xx is good to go.
I am surprised the reservation number question keeps popping up. I was a July 2019 reservation holder. (mid pack) and I got an invite months ago. I passed for a couple reasons. If you want as CT Foundation Series and are willing to pay that package price, I bet you could get one in a month.

I have gotten past the disillusionment that Tesla will offer the CT for anything less than the most that they can get at any given time. They will carefully manage supply, demand and features to extract as much profit from this desirable product.

Eventually the price may come down, but only with competition and falling demand. Sure the FS will end and we won't be required to buy the extras with that package, but as of today on the website we don't know the revised pricing. Will it come with Gen 3 batteries, ventilated seats, 15 speakers, what will the range be? If you want a CT in the next month, you will pay the most that Tesla feels they can get from you.

Not asking about the RN. I'm asking about the VIN.

My neighbor also passed back in May when he had less than 24 hours to take delivery. He is on hold. He was out of state for Naples, Florida delivery. I am also on hold until October for tactical grey Cyberbeast after being notified, first, of VIN, then later, expected arrival date in Jacksonville. Delivery date was set a week or so ago but I cannot make it and am unavailable until end of October so my VIN is being reassigned I presume. I have owned S (2013), X (2016), leased Y (2020), and S Plaid (2021) so have plenty of experience with Tesla. I miss the days when service made house calls for everything. Also, I am waiting for Tallahassee service center to open this month so I can take delivery there if I do follow through with purchase.

Passing all together for now. It’s on hold until March 2025 or until I release the hold. I recently did a test drive in Buena Park which left me underwhelmed at the price so I was planning on passing anyway. Just wasn’t expecting it to pop up so fast on a holiday weekend with only one day to pick it up. Im wondering if maybe it was someone else and they passed.

I’m sure it’s an awesome vehicle but not the fit and finish I’m accustomed to when spending $130,000 on a vehicle. Maybe it’s because it was a test vehicle but panel gaps were really bad, tonneau cover rubber seal was torn and hanging loose, white interior panels look like a bad case of cellulite and plastic bits everywhere just felt cheap. On the bright side, steer by wire was awesome, ride quality was excellent and interior was very quiet. At least compared to my Ram 3500 dually. When the non FS models become available at a more reasonable price I may reconsider. To be honest the whole Tesla experience has left a lot to be desired. I’ve never own a Tesla before so the lack of communication was a surprise to me. Also annoyed that I placed my order Dec 2023 (RN112…) and didn’t get a vehicle until now. Don’t feel like paying a premium for FS is worth it anymore.
Quick question, I’m in the same position as you declined mine a couple of days ago, same issues but they put mine on extended hold as they called it but only until October 1st, how did you get March 25?

I picked my CT Beast 3 weeks a go and love it. On August 2, I was out of town when I received notice planning to pick it up in not more than 3 days, I would not be back in town to take delivery. I was able to get them to agree to delay pick up to date 7 (I had to a get a little ugly). I agree that the customer experience for scheduling pick up is lacking. After 4 years and 8 months from ordering, a little flexibility is appropriate. My actual pick up experience at the SODO Seattle location was actually very good, all of the people there were very helpful and patient despite a VERY full number of people picking up vehicles. As I said at the beginning I Love the beast and am very happy with the performance, comfort, and experience.

Mine is on hold.

My only hesitance in picking it up are the motor issues. I am hoping these are resolved in the more recent VINs.

I got my VIN 9 days ago. Hurry up and wait. No further news. Not having dealers is an occaisional pain. Would you rather add 5k to the price so some parasite could tell you lies. I'm still happy and hopeful.

I don’t understand why Tesla is so hellbent on pushing out FS till they run of each and every person on the planet. They will get so many non FS orders once they open it up. Elon said we can start ordering non FS soon. I know we need to take that with a grain of salt, but here we are September 1st and no news when we can order non FS. My hold expires Sep 24th. It’s such a pain to wait after test driving the vehicle. If Tesla doesn’t extend hold and if I can’t order non FS by end of Sep, I don’t have an option but to forfeit $1K. I can afford $140K but don’t want to. I’ll use my second reservation to order CT in couple of years. I’ll probably go buy Rivian or Tacoma for couple of years. Tesla is seriously losing several potential CT owners because of this FS drama!

I got a vin so I went to schedule my delivery in the appt but it wouldn’t let me so I called. I was told my truck was in transit and wouldn’t arrive at my location until the 1st. I think asked if I could schedule my delivery date for the 1st and I was told no because there was no guarantee the truck would arrive to them on that date so when the truck arrived and they inspected it then they would reach out to me to schedule a delivery date.

Maybe I’m just used to the traditional way of buying a vehicle but with this being my first Tesla from all the different stories I’ve read it doesn’t seem like they have a set in stone business model
Hi, I talked to a lot of folks at the delivery centers and it sounds like it takes a couple of days to get one ready for delivery once it arrives. I'm not sure if that is because of all the other vehicles they are delivering or if the truck actually requires that much work.

When you take delivery, I'd advise you to look at everything you can, very closely.

I don’t think your 1k deposit is transferable to a non FS

Tesla has confirmed it’s transferable as the RN number and the vehicle are the same. They also confirmed that they will honor the $7K FSD that we locked in originally. It doesn’t make sense to put on hold otherwise. It’s not transferable if I buy Model Y or anything other than Cybertruck.

RN is for the non-FS reservation which has a $100 refundable deposit. $1k deposit is for the FS order which is non-refundable.
