Has anyone else’s beast sound very loud above 74mph around the front windshield area? Or this the nornal sound of the wind hitting the truck. Maybe a dumb question but does anyone else have this going on. Been just cranking up the radio.

Same for me. A lot of wind noise in the cabin when driving above 70.

Same beast loudness for me.
It's almost like in some cars when you open just one window and you get the wind buffeting. I feel it in my ears.
I also think it depends on which way I am driving versus which way the wind is blowing.

Do you have your AC on defrost? I hear the pressure of the fan blowing air thru the front windshiel vents when it is in that mode. Otherwise at 80 no noise from that area.

My FS was making a loud vibration noise on driver side at around 77mph and higher while on highway a month ago but has since stopped. Sounded like loose panel catching the wind.

We were driving back home from a road trip and were driving a highway with a 70 mph speed limit and in a stretch we were driving over 75mph and both heard a kind of rattle around the windshield. Once we dropped below around 72mph it went away. It was not wind noise. I told Tesla about it as an add on to a recent service visit but they wanted to go reproduce it and charge me to do so so I said I'd try to reproduce before that. If we are talking about the same kind of noise then that is, itself, a form of reproduction. Stronger.

My beast is, so far, very quiet at all speeds up to 95 or so. Haven't tried faster.

Is there any jiggle in any of the trim pieces around the doors? Maybe they're loosening and catching wind at certain speeds?

I’m hearing more of road noise on mine when going over 75. It sounds more like the AT tires getting louder at high speeds though. Not sure if anyone else notices the same…

This happens to my beast also, at 74, 76, 80, and 82mph it seems to change, I thought it was only the front left side but if you have some one sitting passenger side and feel the dash you can feel it there also. I have read in the forum its the front drive unit and only resolves when they replace it. I have a second appointment (in the first appointment they rotated the tires and said it went away but it didnt) in October I'll see what they say then.

Same issue happening here as well, SA said they can only test up to 70mph not a mile over...so any noise or vibration above that I have to live with unless a smart board member figures it out and gives us a clue how to fix it.
