It doesn't say until when. I put down the deposit for the vehicle and the battery for a CB that was supposed to be delivered in December, but they offered me a vin in July. I am out of the available until December. No way I Can pick one up because I planned accodingly.People that put a $1,000 deposit down that was clearly for the Foundation Series and labeled non-refundable should not get a refund. People need to learn to take a second to read why they are paying $1,000. It was all very visible and clearly presented.
This is 100% what they're trying to do. If they didn't want a FS then they shouldn't have placed the deposit. And they definitely shouldn't be first in line to get a non-FS truck. The people signing this petition not only want their $1000 back, but also want to be the first in line to get their non-FS truck.
There are plenty of really special people “ thinking” ?. Think again! ?SIGN THE PETITION https://chng.it/74JWJbTxJz
Tesla is cancelling Foundation Series Cybertruck orders, and forcing people who ordered an FS Cybertruck to take delivery or lose their $1,000 deposit.
In November 2023, Tesla starting taking $1,000 deposits for a Foundation Series Cybertruck.
There are plenty of people that put a $1,000 deposit thinking they would get a non-FS Cybertruck.
Our petition is for TESLA to:
#1 Allow those people, who put a $1,000 deposit, to get put in the line to get a non-FS Cybertruck.
#2 OR convert to another Tesla Model delivery
#3 OR convert to Tesla Cash.
Exactly. I thought long and hard for over a week before sending the $1,000 because I knew I was on the hook. I complained about the lack of communication, etc after I paid the $1,000 too. But, that is Tesla ... they only speak or deliver when they are ready. This is 100% what they're trying to do. If they didn't want a FS then they shouldn't have placed the deposit. And they definitely shouldn't be first in line to get a non-FS truck.
None of this is correct. It doesn't say until when. I put down the deposit for the vehicle and the battery for a CB that was supposed to be delivered in December, but they offered me a vin in July. I am out of the available until December. No way I Can pick one up because I planned accodingly.
If they cannot offer a FS to me when I am available, then there is a breach of agreement. I will need to go into arbitration to talk it through and hope for the best.
I understand your issue but legally they supplied you with an estimated delivery date that is subject to change. It doesn't say until when. I put down the deposit for the vehicle and the battery for a CB that was supposed to be delivered in December, but they offered me a vin in July. I am out of the available until December.
