Is there an install guide that I can read before ordering? And will this impact efficiency?

We are currently working on an installation video but they do use the existing bolt holes and will take about an hour for installation.


In regards to the efficiency date we don't have any yet but I know adding side running boards to a truck generally doesn't have a significant impact on battery efficiency. However, there are a couple of factors to consider:

1. Aerodynamics: Running boards can slightly alter the aerodynamics of a vehicle by increasing the surface area exposed to air resistance. In high-speed scenarios, such as highway driving, this could theoretically reduce efficiency a bit because the vehicle has to work harder to overcome the increased drag.
2. Weight: Running boards add a bit of weight to the vehicle. The extra weight could slightly reduce efficiency, particularly in electric vehicles (EVs) where battery range can be sensitive to weight changes. However, the weight added by running boards is generally minimal compared to the total weight of the vehicle, so the impact on efficiency is likely negligible.

Overall, while there might be a very slight decrease in efficiency due to added drag and weight, the change is usually too small to be a significant concern for most drivers.

There are YT videos on install of various versions of these. There are existing bolt holes so the install looks pretty simple from what I've watched.

I'd love to know the impact on efficiency as well.

I will speak to the clients in a few weeks to see if they are seeing any significant changes and report back
