I agree. What rated tires do you have on your raptor? S rated? I am getting new S rated ones on Monday.
I believe they are T rated KO 2, I was always taught to measure tires with a penny and I have just over 30,000 miles and the depth is to Lincoln‘s nose, I was taught long ago when the tire tread depth gets to the top of Lincoln’s head that it’s time to replace them.

I’m also about the same tread depth on my cyber beast and it has 1500 miles.

Yours are "T" rated to 118 mph. This tire has been discontinued, so cant get it anymore.

Why have they been discontinued?

Slummin' it with Cybertruck AWD stats ;p
I wouldn’t say I’m slumming. They both have their unique benefits. Raptor is more refined for sure but I prefer the CT to drive.

I own large and heavy trucks. All my trucks are usually around 7000 pound and I get at least 50,000 miles for a set of tires. I have a raptor with 600 hp and It’s just shy of 7000 pounds and I still have lots of tread left after 30,000 miles so I can’t just be due to the weight and horsepower.
Torque. Your raptor does 640 ft-lb. A big diesel will wear tires down. My F350 has 1200 ft-lb.

7000lbs on a rapto curb weight… what do you have on that thing? They run 5740 stock. You must have some cool add ons. My F350 is 8127 curb and my RAM 3500 dually ran 10k lbs. Those were stock. The RAM went through tires like water.

That's what I would expect on a $130K truck. The question is how to get TESLA to admit, the set they put on mine is bad.
Tesla will not admit that because only the tire manufacturer warranties the tires on new vehicles and the warranty is generally not a tread life warranty, it's a warranty for manufacturing defects.

It's possible Goodyear cured them wrong, had an equipment problem during the curing process, etc. It's also possible you ran them at highways speeds without enough air pressure on a hot day and over-cooked them. We have no way to know.

But your best avenue is with Goodyear.

That depends on how you drive. Care to share you trip data and kWh usage? It’s pretty entitled to think that you can burn through a third party consumable and expect the manufacturer to provide a “ warranty “
There you go. The Cyberbeast has 123,000 battery that gives 301 miles of range meaning rated spec WH/Mile = 123000 / 301 = 408.63 WH/Mi...

Look at my trip data 5252 miles at 408 WH/Mi almost exactly as rated specs and 1410 miles at 430 WH/Mi only 5% less efficient than rated specs.

This is not the data of a truck that has been driven like a bat out of hell... and yet... the crappy OEM tires are almost shot.

As a data point, my tires on Cyberbeast at 6,246mi are at 9-10/32 rear, 8-9/32 front. No rotation (yet). Driven ~400 miles on gravel roads/offroad. Maybe 30 launches since new.

Lifetime efficiency 420 Wh/mi. :)

I'm not expecting these to last more than 25-30K tops. Next set will definitely be something with a mileage warranty. But if you drive aggressively and don't keep them rotated & balanced, don't expect the warranty to be honored.

Torque is your main threat for tires. Very gentle accelerator pressure when stopped will help extend the life of your tires. The weight of the vehicle shouldn’t be an issue for a tire that is made for that weight. I cannot speak for the GY tires that come with the CT for longevity but it is a factory installed tire and those are notorious for not having long life. I would get a known truck tire for a weighty truck. The aforementioned Mickey Thompsons are good and my personal favorites are BFG KO3s. Get ones that have a 50k mile warranty as that can help for when they only last 20k and can get you prorated mileage pricing. I did that for years on my RAM 3500 dually because it burned through tires due to the Cummins torque and I switched them up at every 18-20k miles. After getting a nice tire, watch that torque. My old Big O tire dealer told me watch the accelerator and towing. Be as easy as you can on that accelerator. The CT has a lot more torque than you think and sometimes you may not notice.
Sounds like sage advice (K03s). The Falken AT4wd…is it really as close a competitor? I am only just learning the most important part of your truck is the tires, lol.
