Cybertruck OEM Pet Liner disappointed

We just returned from a long weekend with our 2 Golden retrievers while using the official Tesla Cybertruck Pet Liner. One the positive side the door protection is excellent and this panels attach easily and without any seeming potential for damage.

The biggest problem is the length of the sling. With 2 dongs in the backseat the sling only allows maybe 2/3 of the bench to be used. The rear seat is clearly well designed but reducing the seating area by that much means the dogs have maybe 18" of seat to sit on.

A minor point: It'd be great to cover the side of the seat and the area of the door gasket all the way to the seat. Dogs managed to damage the plastic between the gasket and the carpeted area in just one weekend and that had to be when loading.

Can you post pictures of this “2/3 of the seat being usable”? I’m don’t understand this. Does the liner NOT cover all of the seating surface?

also, I assume it does, but picture of the rear screen protection would be nice also.

Oh man, that sucks about the damage from loading. I've had similar issues with my dogs in other cars. Maybe some extra padding or a temporary cover for that spot could help?

Sorry, just seeing this. So what I meant was the dogs do not have the full depth of the seat. So if the distance from the back of the bench where it hinges to the front edge under your knees is 24" (I know it is less) the dogs get maybe 18", etc.

We paid $1k for the tint, so we definitely don't want to risk scratching it.

Did you adjust your things that go around the seat head as much as possible front and back ? Maybe put it on backward ? I didn’t find that issue with ours at all. I do have 2 small frenchies though. I didn’t use the door covers at all. Looked at it and thought it might scratch my tint with the windows up and down,
What I did think is it smells ? Anyone else ? I am financial about keeping my dogs clean , one bath a week we went to Palm Springs using it for the first time and I swear the truck smelled. I didn’t think it was from them but I guess maybe they got into some hi jinx in the yard

I have purchased this cover as it is the most logical solution as it is NOT a hammock or sling over the gap between the back seat and the front. As stated above, the side door covers keep the slobber off but the “seat cover” is useless. Big dogs need to be on the floor/deck not on the seat so I am looking forward to the arrival of the above cover. Anyone want my OEM cover let me know privately and for the cost of shipping it is yours.

I too am disappointed with the Tesla pet liner for the Cyber Truck.

The door protectors won't stay in place and the liner itself slides around. The spacer pipes that are supposed to tuck between the seat to hold it down are too small.

Just poor execution overall.

The door protectors I actually like. Just make sure you push them down into the window channel with force. That prize of the puzzle I think really works well. My guess is may not be pushing down hard enough.
