Apparently my Cybertruck is already enabled for CCS charging (based on the Additional Info screen). Because the snout on the Tesla CCS to NACS adapter isn’t long enough to go in the Cybertruck charging port with its chunky rectangular construction, it’s not considered compatible. But people have supposedly solved this by sculpting the adapter or extending the snout by using an EVject (escape device, currently being updated in design).
I would like to get a Tesla CCS adapter, visible in the shop Adapter in Tesla shop but you have to log in to order it and it checks if your vehicles are compatible. If not, you can’t buy it. Anyone know a way around this?
EDIT: “Nevermind!” I found a friend who was allowed to order one!
