I know your F-150 Lightning can't download FSD, but still...what the heck are you doing here?

You seem unaware that the large volume of statistical data proves beyond a doubt that FSD plus human driver is safer than a human driver alone. So be careful driving your Lightning because it is not equipped to run FSD.

The part you are missing is hidden in the word "yet".

Plus, it's still useful to have a capable co-pilot to share the driving. Yes, even if you have to supervise. Which won't always be the case. We are watching history in the making.

Whole Mars Catalog confirmed on X it does not include ASS, and they are one of the early access folks. My impression is you've got to be a true Tesla fanboy on X to get early access.

FWIW: I am a nobody special and my CT is now downloading the FSD Update 2024.32.20 . I will be giving it a minor test tomorrow as time provides.

It's both a magical experience and mundane at the same exact time. I say that because it is impressive what it can do with just cameras and GPS. But right now you still have to nearly drive it yourself. You still have to pay attention like you would when you were normally driving and be ready within milliseconds to react if things go off the rails.

Despite the promise of the technology, you cannot trust it on its own right now. It can do 99.9% of the driving, but that 0.1% could kill you or at a minimum damage your CT.

I enjoy using it and I'm looking forward to the future where I can trust it more than I can trust myself.
