FSD general release rollout (outside Early Access) is happening! Install yours yet?

This is so awesome! I installed the (2024.32.20) update (FSD 12.5.5) on my Cybertruck this afternoon and it drives a lot better than the last time I used FSD in my Model 3 by a large margin. And I left my hands off the wheel and wasn't getting nags!

Is it hands free now? It sure drove nice. I'm just a regular Tesla owner with no special priviledges and this surprised me how quickly I got it. I was expecting to wait at least another week or two past the Early Access folks.

Life is good with a Cybertruck! I don't have the Cyber wheels yet, and I really don't care!

Just got my notification, downloading now. Going to sleep though, will have to test tomorrow after work.

I am installing as well. I am surprised that they released it to the general public this soon considering the FSD still had problems as reported by the early testers yesterday.

FSD will still have "problems", long after it has completed a million miles of injury free driving without supervision.

This might be a good time to remind you how bad humans are at driving. 1.2 million humans died in traffic accidents in 2023.

That's a lot of death, pain and suffering due to human negligence. As a whole, we are not as good at driving as you imagine.

On a road trip in Iowa and stopped at a super charger and it got on the super charger wifi and started to download! So excited. I am on day 1 of a multi state Midwest road trip and its going to be so nice to have for the interstate.

There have been a few incidents in which I almost ran into another car just because it suddendly came to a stop for apparently no reason. I also read stories about people died because they drove into a parked car on the side of the road thinking it was moving. Those incidents would have been avoided with FSD.

Almost flawless for round trip about 35 minutes local road FSD driving in the night.
The only 2 problems i didn't like

1 following a car fast speed ran through a yellow light. I wasn't sure it could make since it was still pretty far while the light turned yellow, but it eventually made it, barely.

2 did not slow enough on the speed bump with white stripe mark, but very nicely slow down on yellow stripe mark speed bump.

Just got off work and I saw the little arrow that it’s ready for download! Once I got home connected to my Wi-Fi and it’s downloading now! Northeast Florida. First Tesla, picked it up a month ago.
