Can 100+ Cybertrucks help in Asheville, NC with post-hurricane aid?

I was thinking to drive up to Asheville with the CT and see if I can help with the disaster people are experiencing there. Just providing temporary power generation for houses without electricity might positively impact the community.

What could an organized 100+ CT showing up there do? Is anybody thinking something similar, or am I just too naive?

Maybe. I don't know. According to ABRP there are two working SCs site near Ashville. Although, I don't know the access.

Very considerate and thoughtful, which is what is needed. But I would spread out the Cybertrucks once there and just try to help in various places whereever its needed. Optically, 'organized' might be a 'double edged sword' because if you kept the Cybertrucks together a lot, there are those who would try to smear such an effort as motivation for optics or virtue signaling, which of course would not be the case. I think keeping them spread out while there helping various locations might be a better idea.

The charging situation is a real concern right now. There are four charging stations locally around Asheville, or about eight within an hour or so of Asheville (see map below). All of these except two are showing temporarily closed. Only 2 of 8 locations open almost certainly due to power outages, which means destination chargers in the area will not have power either. So for such an effort, bringing generators and/or scheduling night charging at the two locations that are currently still operating will likely be a must:

I love the idea! I'd be afraid of taking supercharger stations away from those there that are using there Tesla's to stay comfortable with AC, etc. it's too bad there aren't more operational charger nearby at the moment.

As the infrastructure further develops, it'll be more viable.

If you want to go, bring supplies and offer to help manually, but to go with your CT to offer a few plugs for people without power would not likely be welcomed.

Also, the concerns about SC, a place to stay, getting in, etc.

You CAN just drive there, just watch out for closed roads. Superchargers status is shown in real-time on the map, no need to assume.

I'm about 2 hours away, contemplated loading up 20 cases of water, or bringing a trailer to haul rubbish out of the way, but afraid I'd just be in the way using space/energy others could better utilize. If there was an actual group being organized and integrated with the overall effort tho, I'd be in...

I am hear in upstate South Carolina. I have been without power for 5 days now. My Cybertruck has come in clutch and has been powering my large freezer and fridge this entire time. Only yesterday was my street cleared from all the knocked over trees, so I was able to drive 50 miles away and charge the truck to 100% to come back and act as my home battery.

Very convenient, especially compared to my neighbors who are using traditional gas generators while most gas stations in the area are either out of gas or closed.

Hurricane Helen hit us hard, especially SC and NC. 1.1M without power just in my area.
