I will not intentionally store Lithium battery powered devices in my vehicles during the summer months. The interior air temperature reaches up into the 155-degree range, which means the batteries are exposed to the same temperatures. I guess Lithium Iron Phosphate ( LiFePO 4 or LFP) batteries don't have the same safety issues that are capable of creating their own oxygen during a thermal runaway event, so they're probably relatively safe to have inside a vehicle.
