Bug in FSD: "Take Over Immediately" alert warning remains on display screen

While driving, the message “ Take Over Immediately” on and the alarm also on. Restarted twice, the alarm gone, but the message is still there! Must be a bug? Anyone had similar problem?

Same here. The alarm went on for 20mins as I was driving on freeway.

Happened last night with construction outside my driveway. Took control and turned off FSD and it still kept beeping and freaking out. Cli ked the button a bunch and it shut off. Not sure if it was before or after I put in park to grab mail.

Please keep us posted. It happened to me twice today. My friend told me that FSD will be suspended if this happened a few times(5?).

It happened to me as well. Out of the blue. I was able to stop the audible alarm by rebooting. After this, FSD was working again even with the red steering wheel caution on the screen. Once i got back in the car after a few hours at work, all was normal again.

Service informed me that they need to run diagnostics and will need lead engineer look at it. They said it could be alignment issue or some sensor… By the time he came back with all paper work the icon/symbol disappeared. Anyway will be taking it tomorrow for other work and will see if they can find more details.

Thanks for the update. I still believe it is a software bug. My friend told me that warning messages could be due to my distraction. The fact is I concentrated more than myself driving, because I was quite nervous about the new feature.

I strongly believe it is a software bug. With the warning sign still on, the FSD shouldn’t be reactivated.

I have been able to replicate this successfully three days in a row coming up my street after school drop off and turning left into my cul-de-sac right when the sun hits the camera cluster just perfectly.

That doesn’t sound like the same issue as the OP. FSD should tell you to take over when it is either confused (weird construction) or isn’t getting the information it needs (sensors). It should not continue to warn you once it’s disengaged UNLESS you are crossing the road/lane edge lines and have that warning enabled.

Happened to me yesterday, and I believe it’s when I pulled out onto a street directly into sunlight and tried to start FSD. Eventually it went away and I was able to re engage FSD after about 5 min. It didn’t count as a strike.

This isn't a strike. It's just a cry for help from the truck. I got it in sunlight too. It shouldn't stay though so it's probably a bug in the fsd cybertruck software.
