Right scroll wheel controls your set speed. Auto-pilot and FSD will go all the way down to 1 mph lol
I think it also depends on the road though... If you are on a 2 lane road, you see the MAX, in blue under AUTO and next to a speed limit sign (like SPEED LIMIT 45), but you can adjust UP by stepping on the gas, but I can't get it to go DOWN with scroll wheels...

Going to have to take video I think...

Is it just my school zone limit signs, with lights to know when active, is it just my school signs type that the car doesn't recognize?
I have the same issue, but this afternoon it did slow for a school zone that it flew through yesterday and passed a school zone at the normal speed since it was after 6 pm, that it slowed down at 730 last night. School zone speed limits here on Long Island are from 7am-6pm. So it seems to be learning, and I send in a report every time it does something wrong. I liken it to a beginner driver that is drunk. Which means they do some really bad thing but some times they get it right, and also they just don't know any better.
Today, my truck has been hugging the right side of the lane. On two local road and on 3-4 lane highways. It also wants to take the HOV lane and I don't want it to.

The CT ran over the concrete apron, while making a left turn. It was sudden so and flat so it was not dangerous just made me look like a bad driver. Which is worse.

yeah, see if you can get an example of what's going on.

Also, what are the speed/auto-pilot settings you have configured in the menu? Absolute, relative, etc?

FSD isn't trained on school zones or busses, yet.

With ASSO enabled, which it is for them, you have no control of the speed. Your offset isn't factored in.

If they turn ASSO off, they can use the scroll wheel, but with V12 the scroll wheel and offset only set max settings, the vehicle will still at times go under the speed limit, unlike V11.

I haven't been on FSD since the free trial back in April so I'm not 100% up to date, but I was able to adjust the speed limit lower back then. I have a hard time believing Tesla would prevent people from decreasing their set speed while on FSD ?

It's an option called Automatic Speed Set Offset. If it's on you have 0 control of your speed. They are testing it/implementing it for RT and future FSD versions.

It's probably the biggest complaint most have with V12 of FSD.

And Tesla will continue to strip options out of FSD as it gets closer. The goal is for the car to drive safe, not how people prefer as Elon has said.

Ah, I gotcha. I had no idea people couldn't decrease their speed when needed.

That's a bold move I think lol

It can be turned off under Autopilot settings.

Not with auto speed setting enabled.
