Small glass pane degrading above door button

Has anyone had issues with the glass above the door button starting to degrade? I just noticed what looks like hard water spots or chemical exposure only on this small piece of glass pictured. I don’t use any chemicals to clean the CT and it’s not like that on the other side. I’ve had the truck since March and it’s kept outdoors in Fort Lauderdale. No sprinklers exc in the vicinity.

Thanks. I feel like an idiot (much deserved). I would have thought they remove that before delivery. Now it’s a flaky mess and gonna be a pill to remove.

Put it in the sun to warm it and I believe that razor blades will get the little pieces off.

Your Model Y doesn't have gloss pillar covers, does it?

This isn't the armored glass, as far as I know.

Uhmmm yes.. the repeater cameras are behind a ‘pillar cover’.. technically on ALL tesla

I just went out to check mine. I didn't peel off any film when I picked up mine. The part does seem to be glass.
But from the color of the glass in your photo it doesn't match the glass next to or below, which it should. If its glass, you can use a razor, but it should just peel off.

Confirmed. I used a razor and it easily peeled right off.
