It appears that Tesla has now invited all reservation holders to order non-FS versions. Are there any US reservation holders still waiting for an invite to order a non-FS version? If so (check your account first...), post your ~ reservation date and location below.

Try going to the Tesla web site on your desktop browser and login, click "manage" under your CT reservation and then "start designing." It should take you to the non-foundation design configurator.

We are all hearing the ground breaking news that over 1 million possible 1.5 million CT preorders has been exhausted and buyers can basically ordder now and take delivery in 60 days or less. Please tell me this is all negative proganda against the CT and tesla. If true that would make it the greatest demand collapse in automative history. 16,000 orders filled and wham it’s Demand is for all practical purposes over. I can’t believe that. I think tesla needs to get on the news and rebutt this.

It is not propaganda, and I am not sure it is particularly unusual. Ford had 200,000 reservations for the Lightning before launch and it ended up selling 20,000 in the first 12 months after launch. A 5% - 10% conversion rate is pretty typical, it seems.

There are still plenty of CT reservation holders out there waiting on tax credit eligibility or a more cost-effective variant, etc. But following this final round, over the next month or so, it will be just like any other Tesla: go on the web site and order one. Wait times will vary depending on model and features but since there will only be 4 variations (dual/tri, gray/white interior), it should be much easier for Tesla to deliver quickly from inventory.
