Mine came with one month free and 1 year connectivity free. I tried it and a little scary when turning the corners at a intersection. It seems the FSD does not take the rear wheel turning into consideration. Cuts the next lane. Had to take control . almost hit a jeep. I am sure they will fix it. Other than that I am really pleased with the non FS version
Rear wheel steering at typical turning speeds should shift the back end away from the inside of the turn (counter steering).
Agree, it does cut left turns tight.

Yes , that was the part both left and right I had to learn to got a little further straight before I start the turn. Now it seems, after a few hundred miles, the I turn much slower on the wheel an it compensates. I have run over curves 2 times with right turns in FSD.

Anyone in California who placed Non-FS order in and got a VIN around 10/4 - 10/5 get a delivery date? If so when and which delivery center?

It's based on the shipper, mines on the way to NJ as we speak. Arrives in NJ on the 19th. A lot of people dropped out and are waiting for the 2WD model.

Wondering if Tesla might be trying to firm up production plans for 2025 by inviting everyone on the reservation list and seeing how many are willing to commit with a $250 non-refundable order fee. This thread should be a good place to track delays between orders, VIN assignments, and delivery dates. I ordered on 12 Oct 24 with a 12052xxxx reservation number and wouldn’t be surprised to get a delivery date of mid- to late-2025. While the order shows an estimated delivery date of Oct-Nov 2024, it also states that delivery will be prioritized by reservation number. Maybe, I’ll be pleasantly surprised. ?

Doesn’t look my truck is getting here any faster and instead seems to be moving slower. I got a VIN assigned last Monday with an ETA of 10/19. That has now been pushed back to 10/25. Perhaps a bit more bummed out for a couple reasons - first being I sold my spare care in hopes that their ETA provided was accurate and second because I drove past the center today and saw 4 Cybertrucks being offloaded from a truck. Was really hoping one of those would have been mine, but unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be likely. Bummer!

Yep. I'm one of those people. The way Tesla does business and treates it's customers has put me off buying their product ever again. I don't regret my choices of wheel type (core) and color (grey) although it c ould have been a better grey forme it's still better than white. However as a result I get an instant 6500 downgrade in value of my car as they also dropped the value of FSD (if it ever comes) by an extra $1K dow to $7K. If they hadn't wanted customers that made my choices to feel shafted they would have had the core wheels and grey at a discounted price from the off. I'm also wasting time having to fight for the $4K install rebate which they themselves have confirmed I'm eligible for. It really isn't about the money at this price point. It's about the way they treat their customers. In a couple of years other companies will offer worthy opponents I would hope. I won't hesitate to switch should that be the case. Nobody bother saying it was obvious either. Tesla at no point indicated that I was downgrading nor did they give me a discount. They did at one point call the wheels a free upgrade to try and get me to accept earlier delivery of a choice I didn't want. It's not a free upgrade if you've already paid full price.

So here's my summary of teslas magnificent sales approach that only serves to make some of it's customers feel like twats.

-Core All Season Tire/wheel (-3,500)
-Tactical Grey (-2,000)
-FSD now $7K was originally $12K

P.S based on my experience with their service department yesterday the fun isn't over
Oh and it only took 3 goes to drive away with a brand new truck that had straight panels (ish) and a lack of scratches in the b

It isn't a great "grey" but it's all about personal preference. I don't regret getting grey. I just don't like that it's basically classified as a $2K downgrade now.
Same here, our only difference is I'm actually looking for ways to demand refund for that $5,500 as I was semi-forced to accept the trim and AS tires.

Are there any more CT owners with the same situation? That is, Paid $20k more for the FS but instantly lost $5,500 for AS tires and Tactical Grep Trim without the knowledge that it's a downgrade?

But if you didn’t think it was a downgrade when you chose it why is it a downgrade? I see from the perspective as now nonFS get it and you wanted it to be exclusive to the FS.
I think when SD came out my cuz paid like 12G for FS on his M3P
Now he has a gripe ?
But most of us just got the FS to get it early I didn’t feel like any of the accessories were ever going to be that much different then the AWD.

It's not a downgrade only if Tesla had let its customers choose with the knowledge of the price difference and had it reflected on the payment.

And no, I don't care about exclusiveness. In fact, I dislike the attention that was drawn by the uniqueness of CT, very annoying.

The White Dash and door inserts are not worth the upgrade. Unless they include white seats. If you Got Tactical Grey. Then be happy.

$250 deposit sent just to ensure my ā€˜spot in line’ ??

only question I really have about this vehicle is where do the AirSuspension lie when it comes to warranty? Basic Vehile or Drive Unit? (I’ve never had a vehicle with such) how if the X and S handled in this regard?

I guess this would be valid question for the Steer Techs also (SBW and RrStr)

if these technologies were ā€˜dumb’ I would not be wondering…
