The original Foundation Series Configurator:

Threads talking about the price:
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...or-special-about-the-foundation-series.10881/

Grey/AS weren't options to begin with. They were added later and every from Sawyer Merritt to Whole Mars and 90% of the people here stated that the base CT would have grey/AS tires and the white/AT would be an upgrade. Even when they announced them people were warned they were paying the FS for the base model options and most didn't care.
Who are Sawyer Merritt? Does he represent Tesla? And people who orders Cybertruck have to come here to consume all the threads before ordering?
Where did your screenshot states AT "IS AN UPGRADE" or lower price.

It's people who defend Tesla the way you do that earns Tesla customer the negative reputation.

So you did 0 research, didn't read about Tesla the company, didn't look into the Cybertruck before buying?

Sawyer Merritt is a Tesla independent reporter. He often has inside access and reports about trims, delivery numbers, battery pack sizes, timelines, etc.

You are free to feel slighted. The people who don't agree are also equally free to disagree, but to what extent? You are calling people trolls and saying this is just Tesla fans defending the company. I am very critical of the company as an investor, but in this instance I just think you are wrong and you are throwing a temper tantrum because of it. That's how you come off, anyway.

My point in showing a thread of people is that almost everyone who follows the company knew, almost exactly, what the upgrades would cost. Tesla introduce the Foundation Series has having white trim and AT tires as included features. Everyone knew grey/AS were out and tested from pictures, therefore the grey/AS would be on the base unit and not part of the included FS package.

Again, you really thought AS tires would be the same price as the AT? Of course you didn't. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt as someone who knows nothing about Tesla not knowing that white interior options are always an upgrade, typically around $2k.

No. It doesn't.

I said that in my first response. This individual signed an agreement for a package and now wants money back because the non-FS is cheaper.

Even if the non-FS came with additional mileage and a built in air compressor it doesn't change anything.

My second point is that with a tiny amount of research, it was widely available that the white/AT would be upgrades.

RN1201XXXXX (Oct '23). Got the non FS invitation yesterday and placed my order today. I'm fortunate to own a business and can get the tax credit that way. Now, anxiously waiting for my VIN assignment and delivery date! I have a roadtrip planned in two weeks and am hoping (but not expecting) to take delivery before that trip.
I wish you well... But i was in a similar situation and when i got my VIN they were trying to schedule delivery for the day i was leaving on a trip. You had basically 7 days of wiggle room to adjust delivery, if you couldn't make that, they were going to reassign the VIN and then no guarantees on when you get another chance. I took that to mean you move to the back of the line again.... No "hold"

I managed to talk to them, and got delivery accelerated a bit. I'm in San Antonio, just down the road from Austin, so that probably helped. I ended up able to take delivery, but only had a bit more than 24 hours to try it out before i went on my trip....

My update is a pretty salty one, and I’m pretty furious with Teslas piss poor management, lack of communication and overall disfunction with delivery. They would be happy to never update me and hope that I just forget that they’ve said the truck is enroute to me 5 times now. They’ve now stated the truck is delayed again from 10/25 and refused to provide a follow up date. Comically I’m assuming this was done as they’ve now been egg on face multiple times but what a joke. There is no reason that they shouldn’t be able to tell me what the hold up is getting the truck loaded and in transit to my location. It’s really disappointing and again made all the more frustrating because I’ve already been given CONFIDENT delivery dates that keep passing by. I sold my car, I think I’m just gonna go get something else now. Bummer!

Not eligible. Only the commercial credit can be used if the title is going under a business name.
