We started working on rear bumper this week that matches our Heavy-Duty rock slider design, just a few progress pics, will share more next week as the prototype develops.

The design improves departure angle by 9" at the tip of the rear bumper and 3" behind the wheels.

Not shown is the "secret sauce" we developed for our sliders that translates to the rear bumper and really make a capable Cybertruck a tank offroad.

For those of you attending the Smugglers Runs event in Lucern Valley in 2 weeks, you'll be able to see the work first hand.

Let me know your thoughts.

For our sliders we took our 25+ years of Land Rover parts know how (FYI, we owned a service center and Overlanded from Alaska to Nicaragua and everywhere in the USA) and here was our initial engineering for our sliders. The final result is very similar but can't share it today, next few weeks when on website.

They are bolt on, no modifications needed and have replaceable UHMW wear pads on the bottom. The slippery plastic allows the slider to slide over the obstacle vs digging in and creating resistance. And when damaged, can be easy replaced with a new pad.

Also shown with the OEM oil in them for reference.

We gained ground clearance at the edge of the sill compared to OEM, and the part has a 5" reinforced side step that will protect the door panels and allow you to step on to enter the vehicle easily in high mode.

They loose .50" ground clearance on the very bottom in order to allow fitment of the belly armor plate, also with wear pads coming next.

And yes, we covered the factory jack points, then reinforced them so the entire slide can be used as a jack base now.

Who's ready to get to trail next month?

Waiting with 'baited breath' for the results of this! The approach and departure angles could use a LOT of help for those that actually want to offroad these!

Please also consider hitch mounts and winch options with these!

Hitch mount - Yes!
Recovery points - yes!
Swing Away Rear Tire Carriers - Yes
Front bumper will include hitch - yes!

This will be a purpose built, no compromise Offroad Bumper with everything you will want and nothing you don't need. Other companies will surely sell bigger, heavier bumpers.

We have one coming, but not like the unplugged performance because that one does not give you any advantage over the stock plastic piece. It’s the same size.

I'd like a black anodized kit that replaces all the plastic: bumpers, fenders, "rockers". But not for 10k. My bronco to do similar was under 4k.

Chinese Bronco parts are pretty cheap these days, and they have more volume. Our Made in the USA Aluminum sliders with wear pads will run $2500.

One of the biggest fails to me on the stock bumper is no step in the corner of it like the other trucks. I get so sick and tired of kneeing my self in to grab tools 10 times a day. Put that in your bumper and you probably have a customer in me (unless it’s 7k) ?.

Working on a solution for this, but our bumper is really an offroad focused armor solution
