2-ish weeks between VIN and delivery.

Hahaha this turn around is the only thing that has me nervous. I’ve also heard as little as 3-4 days from vin or you get skipped. Was hoping for the stock to rebound a bit.

I was a day one reservation. I got my invite to configure on 10-4 and didn’t get a vin for a few days. I went in and looked a realized I ordered a DM when I wanted a beast so I was able to change it due lack of VIN. After switching to a beast I had a vin less than 6 hours later.

I spoke to the delivery center and they estimated I’d have it in the next 10 days.

When you say you spoke to the delivery center, did you actually call your local delivery center or did you use the in app chat feature? My guy in chat replied once but no idea where those guys work out of.

I really doubt that will be the case. This is probably WHY they did the massive RN invite wave before going public order. People need to chill…

So the reservation I made in May 2020 doesn’t mean anything now? I already ordered the truck by email I received last Thursday 10/10/2024 but now it’s disturbing that anyone can get their truck before me now. What a joke.

I called the location, Lawrence Twp, NJ, and spoke to them. It was surprisingly easy to thru to someone. I had to call twice because when I did my registration information in the app it never verified thus they pushed it along. When I was done with all my tasks I called back and inquired if the truck was local or not and they said it isn’t. I only asked because on TMC forums people are saying hundreds are laying around and thought I’d get it immediately. Turns out that, at least for mine, that isn’t the case and it’s on its way from Texas.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about getting a new vehicle.

Let's be honest, you just want the price to be. Whatever is good for you. The comments about demand and all this other stuff is let's be honest. Let's get the price down for me and that's what it is.

Agreed!! They would put every truck manufacturer out of business! This is why you are now able to place an order today with no reservation less than a year after release. Tesla is Amazing!

Anyone know if you can trade in existing foundation series AWD cybertruck towards a new Cyberbeast yet? Looking to switch from AWD to Cyberbeast and trying to get that sales tax trade in credit.
