Eventually you'll be able to send the truck on errands to pick up stuff. Imagine you're out in the field working and break something (I know this never happens, LOL), in the past you lose half a day running to town to get parts and supplies. Sometimes that's fun, you need the break, but others its puts you farther behind. With FSD, hopefully next year, you call Eugene down at New Holland, and ask if he has a feeder house chain, he says "you need another 2310?" Yup, I'll send Cleetus over to grab it. You get in the Tesla app and direct Cleetus to Freuhoff New Holland, in Southbury IN. While you move the cows to the south pasture, and muck out the coop. No wasted time. That's what FSD can do in a farm truck.

That concept and idea is great, but years away.

After 5 years of fanatic anticipation, it's hilarious that my immediate reservation meant nothing other than an early spot in line for Foundation Series at double the announcement price. I was super amped after the delivery event, waited, then FS came out at too high a price, waited, then non-FS opened up but isn't tax credit eligible yet. The wait continues unless a few things line up and I can comfortably ignore the potential $7.5k savings.

I was salty when I got the invite for the marked up FS but I'm beyond that point and find the way things unfolded to be pretty funny. I was flexing my early reservation these last many years.

CB gets the “yacht floor”. AWD gets all-black floor.

They ‘auto configure’ with AT tires, but that raises the price $3,500.

You have both of these in your Cyberbeast.

The yacht floor is in front of your center console. The "suede"/premium interior is on your dash and around your pillars.

It's the silver/black storage area vs all black (all plastic?) floor on NFS AWD.

I believe "suede interior" refers to the dash topper.

Right only a month ago and already the cheaper version is available. Nothing happened. It’s currently the best vehicle ever made. I’m just not happy about the price discrepancies considering I didn’t really get it any sooner than I would have at the lower price.

I get it. It's cheaper, but it's not a straight price drop. You lose some of the stuff you got from the FS. If you valued them. Hope you feel better about this soon.

Thanks! So the Premium Interior is the same as the alcantara wrap (which is nice, especially on the dash) of my Beast. So other than the laser etching ("Foundation" versus "Cyberbeast"), will there be any other differentiators between FS and non FS CB's interiors? Or exteriors for that matter?

Doesn't appear so right now, no.

Very interesting that you do not need a preorder/reservation to place the order and configure. Wonder if they’ll prioritize orders that had reservations this whole time.

yes they are prioritizing pre-orders. this is from my second reservation.

Anyone know if you can trade in existing foundation series AWD cybertruck towards a new Cyberbeast yet? Looking to switch from AWD to Cyberbeast and trying to get that sales tax trade in credit.

When thinking of trading my first M3 I learned that Tesla gives crap money for trade ins so even if the do you might want to check places like carmax and caravana as well . The offer was significantly better

ha, that is a good name for it. That is the space between the front passengers that has the stainless which is not included on NON foundation.

Sweet. Ordered 10/4 and still no VIN. Day one hour one res here and some Joe gonna get delivery before I get a VIN.

Did you fill out as many of the items for delivery and ordering as possible?
