Tesla scalped the truck themselves with the Foundation. They were pretty smart about getting the most they could for it while it was hot. Obviously it will cool off. At the prices of 80-100k it's not going to sell 300k units a year.

They did the same thing to me when I tried to trade in my model Y Carvana gave me a way better price

Carvana is awsome, I’ve sold 2 cars to them they offered over Kelly blue book no fus showed up with a check and took the truck. Honestly thought maybe they would say something about a few areas on the truck that didn’t look so hot but nope.

I think a RWD CT will do great numbers. I also think an AWD at $70k would do great too. It's not the Tesla way, but if they did a "work truck" trim and a "premium" trim, it would work well. Truck is a completely different segment than car, this type of differentiation would work.

Thanks! So if 28,250 is the total number, do you (or anyone else here) know the break out: How many Beasts and how many AWD's? (As a happy FS Beast owner I am curious to know how common, or uncommon, the FS CBs are...). Perhaps ??, but I doubt it... ?.

I haven't been able to nail that one down I’ve heard a few on her say 1 out of 10 but that’s all speculation as far as what I’ve read. Maybe someone ells knows better but I don’t think that’s been shared yet
