FRUNK opened near F150

I was camping with my friend, who has an F150. it happened three times. He pressed his FOB to this truck to unlock...touched his door handle, and the car chirped. when he was reversing, the frunk opened. Of course, I was near it, and I had my phone. I checked to see if I accidentally pressed a shortcut button on my iPhone, but the shortcut asks for confirmation which I need to touch on my screen.

Is it the new touchless frunk entry that pushed in a recent update?

If you stand still in front of your frunk for 3 seconds with your phone in your pocket the frunk opens.

You can turn off this feature in settings. Unlikely it had anything to do with your friends car.

? probably the new setting. I had to turn mine off at home because every time I wash it it opens but it does make 3 pretty load sounds before it opens though.

Mine aren't loud, I have to listen closely for them, easily missed.
