This is about as close a call as you can get. On Wednesday, I was driving just before dark along a stretch of road that I routinely see deer along. I spotted the deer and it initially looked like it was turning away from the road and then abruptly changed its mind. The result: the deer ran towards the truck and then dropped to the pavement as I went over it and then popped back up once the rear of the CT cleared the deer. I did a thorough check and there was no blood or damage at all. The deer literally ran UNDER the truck and then jumped up and took off. I was driving in low mode, so there wasn't a tremendous amount of space for the deer under the truck. I honestly can't believe how lucky I was that night. I did slow and swerve when I saw the deer in an attempt to avoid a collision and it made a difference. The moral of the story: around dusk/dawn, be alert, drive slow and drive a Cybertruck
