Love how far FSD has come. I've been using it since its first beta.

This release (and maybe it was the case in the past) is ignoring intersections where there is no stop sign for perpendicular traffic. We have this a lot in a town I live nearby where approaching traffic is coming up a very steep hill to an intersection and does NOT have a stop sign. This is because in winter, there can be icy conditions and it is unsafe to stop and start again on such a steep incline.

My CT simply ignores incoming traffic and barrels forward with the assumption the approaching traffic is going to stop at a stop sign that is non-existent. This seems like a really tricky AI challenge to figure out...unless it can read the sign saying, "traffic to your left does not have a stop sign".

So happy we're getting to edge cases. 98% of the time, I have no interventions where I drive.

That's now how FSD works. There is no "reading" signs or thinking or physics. It's just images in controls out. If there are no use cases of your example to train on it will never learn it.

Elon: "We never taught it to read."
