What’s the plan for all the excess FS inventory?

There’s an overflow lot a block away from the Tesla Mesa AZ SC with two dozen foundation series cybertrucks. Production dates on them are generally late Sept / Early Oct but saw a few as early as August.

Anyone aware of where these are going? Strip FSD and fill non-FS orders maybe?

Surely demand in Canada/Mexico for FS is drying up?

Sell or are sold just waiting to get delivered. Let’s say there were a few thousand not sold , why would they not keep the FS on the board still to order then till
Inventory was gone ? You can’t tell me in all the country they couldn’t still unload them because absolutely no one would buy one ?

There is inventory though. I filled out a form and had a Tesla sales rep call me to ask if FSD to Cybertruck was actually possible.

They informed me they had inventory in Pennsylvania for the foundation series if I wanted to take delivery immediately.

There will always be people that don't take delivery for whatever reason then it becomes available to the next person.

I don’t know of any confirmed cases but when I asked someone from delivery what do you guys plan on doing with the FS trucks that weren’t sold?

He said some will go to showrooms, some will go to test drive fleet, and some may get delivered to new orders.

I would suspect it’s a typical up sale…. “ He your NFS is a few weeks out but we do have a few FS you can get today if you jump on it before they are gone “. They def ain’t giving them out as surprises

Yes, it's the same as reservation holders that didnt need to wait 3 months for Giga Texas to build and transport their truck and were able to get one right away.
