Ah yea, it can be confusing, there is an edit that lets you edit the main post and a separate edit that is for the title and stuffIt doesn’t let me edit much. It won’t let me change it
I'm with you on this one. It's a "Limited Edition" in that it's "limited" to how many people they can get to buy one. Once nobody else on earth is willing to fork over $100k+ then they'll finally drop this edition and start selling the cheaper ones. It makes the most sense from a business perspective. They will sell 20,000 and then another 20,000 and so on until the list of 2million reservations is tapped, then they will go through and offer them again, then figure out how to make them.
Looks like another wave of emails is going out this week, if it does will confirm that Tesla is trying to sell as many of these as possible.
C'mon man, we have literally nothing else to do but speculate while we sit here waiting for our trucksY’all taking ‘back of napkin’ to new heights (lows?)

A youtuber showed his reservation number as 40,000 or a little more. I was 100,000 in line and I got my invite 10 days after he got his. So the acceptance rate has a LOT of factors. People with multiple orders may have been dumped, no money to buy at sticker plus 5k, already have a truck and too much trouble to go from current to CT without a big depreciation cost.I have a reservation number around 11284xxxx. I read that Tesla will aim to sell around 20,000 Foundation Series CTs. If I can determine the acceptance rate I can probably get close on how many invites they will send out.
