If FSD is say $150 monthly it would take me +5 yrs (yes, I'm a math genius) to spend the $10,000 if I instead bought the FSD option outright. One, I hardly ever keep a vehicle over 5 years. Two, a 2027 Tesla will probably be so amazing it will be hard not to want to upgrade. And thirdly, it's my understanding FSD is not transferable to someone who buys your Tesla 2nd hand. Is that correct? So unless you're a buy and hold owner type, is there any value to buying the FSD package at this price? Can someone point out what I'm missing?
