I got a vin on Oct 5 2024. Waited about 2 weeks then messaged Tesla in the app if they would happen to know a deliver date. They said you CT is in transit and showing delivery in 2 weeks. Great so I thought. 2 weeks passed and asked again in the app. They said it should be soon. I asked the person if they could elaborate on "soon". They replied we don't actually know when it will be here but it is in transit. Now 5 weeks later I stopped at the local Tesla dealership to ask. I was told it should be about 2 weeks it is in transit, again. I replied I was told that 5 weeks ago. She said it is closer. I asked if she could elaborate on "closer". All she could tell me is its closer than it was 5 weeks ago.
First off I know I am impatient. However, I like to be told the truth at least. Has anyone had issues with the people at their local Dealer and messages? Mine is West Palm Beach location. Have had multiple problems with service with my 2023 MYP. 3 times had to bring something back that they said they fixed but never actually fixed it. Service reps talk to each other about their weekend and other things before waiting on customers. Don't even get me started on their loaner vehicles.
To sum up. Is this the typical Tesla dealership experience? Do they not actually know if a truck is on its way or not? I am worried that I might be in for more than I can deal with if this is the typical dealership experience. Especially since I plan to do quite a bit of towing with my CT and I know about the issues.
