Tesla app - delivery checklist process buggy & stuck!

Do I just have a case of the dumb, or is this app just being a buggy mess?

First issue- trading in my car. When I would click the "+" signs to add photos for the trade in photos it prompted for, I could choose to either take or upload a photo. I tried both. NUMEROUS times. Every time I'd do so, no warning, no error, no nothing. It just wouldn't show the photo being uploaded. I eventually got it to work after maybe 15 attempts for each photo angle asked for, suddenly it would show a 'loading' icon and finally work. Got through that step finally.

Second (current) problem, is the financial partner information. I got approved for a loan through my personal bank, and when I select "other" for the financial institiution, I can select my bank, banks address populates, and then I click submit, and NOTHING HAPPENS. The button flips color when I hit it, over and over again, but nothing happens. No progress, no pop ups, no errors or prompts. I've deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, and I CANNOT get past it.

Any ideas? Is this just a fluke of an experience?

Maybe that’s a sign of Holiday Traffic ?

These sound like connectivity issues. I have purchased a number of cars through the app and not had any of the problems that you are describing.

That’s only one man’s experience though but it’s five different times.

all I can offer is to do the basics check your connectivity speed through your ISP or cell provider and make sure your app is on the latest version as well as your operating system on your phone.

If it’s none of those things. you can get help by going into the service center or calling them. Or perhaps someone else here can be more informative.

The app can sometimes be sensitive to file size if you’re uploading images from a different camera or something. I generally find that shooting the photos from the app works best because it will confirm that they have the angle that the image conforms generally to what they want and give you the opportunity to retake.

Confirmed my order a couple weeks ago ago.. (started the first steps of applications and such) , vin assigned last wednesday, scheduled pickup date yesterday.
