I got my Cyberbeast Lightbar installed today by Monterey Tesla SC. My truck delivery was 6/1/24. This SC has always been fantastic for us. I Dropped it off and they gave me a Model X loaner. 4 hours later my truck was finished and I picked it up.
As expected, the Lightbar had tape over it and needed its connections made. That took me around 25 minutes to solder and heat shrink. Tesla included a small 6” wiring extension as well. That was connected between the Lightbar wires and the power wires in the passenger side A pillar roof area.
The Lightbar has 2 “ditch lights” on the edges. As seen in wide angle pic. The center of Lightbar is spot beam. You can operate them individually or together.
To turn it on, you can go to your Dynamics setting under Off-road and hit Lightbar.
Also, in your Outlets and Mods menu you can toggle between Off, Ditch, Center, and Both. You can also slide a brightness bar for it.
I debated selling my Lightbar initially but seeing the finished product is low profile and careful noticeable. There is no increase in wind noise either.
I know a lot of people complain about their SC but Monterey has always given us a loaner vehicle. We’ve brought our old Model X, new Model Y and the Cybertruck to them multiple times and their appointments are quick, communication great. Never been impressed with car dealers like I have been with Monterey Tesla.
After driving the new MX today, we’re ordering a new Plaid X
